More than you need to know:
I grew up in a small town in the midwest on a diet of Jane Austen and J.K. Rowling. In 2008, I graduated from Ohio University (go Bobcats!) with bachelors' degrees in English and Sociology/Criminology. A husband, a baby, and a few moves later, I graduated from Wright State in 2012 and became a "Master" of Literature. (Ha.)
Bookwise, I read just about anything that falls in my lap (even tea leaves that look suspiciously like little people in large hats pointing at a tea moon), but some of the authors who warrant a hot cup of chai and a cozy corner include: Rainbow Rowell, George R.R. Martin, Libba Bray, J.K. Rowling, Jane Austen, Patrick Rothfuss, Phillip Pullman, and Jen Lancaster.
When I'm not reading, I'm writing. My focus is a fantasy project called The Peacekeeper's Selection. I am implementing beta-inspired changes now, and hope to begin the agent game soon.
When I'm not writing fantasy, I'm writing and editing freelance style (for actual money, which I hear is important for maintaining life and buying books). Most of this involves work with literature textbooks, which keeps me busy and can be quite a bit of fun.
I also enjoy cats, which I feel like is implied...and roller derby, which maybe isn't.
